Incoming call.
So I got a call from a good friend of mine today. He took me by complete surprise when he asked me on a date this Saturday.
I like him a lot, but never thought of him as anything more than a friend. Is it terrible of me to say that my life is complicated enough and about to get even crazier with a move across the country?

In their defense.
A recent tragedy at Knoxville zoo, in which keeper Stephanie James was crushed by Edie, one of the zoo’s two female African elephants has got me thinking. After reading comments claiming the zoo to be negligent, I have come to the conclusion that there may be some skewed perceptions. I know how to stay out of trouble (mostly how to not get caught)
I have a great taste in music
Late night.
When I’m very stressed or anxious and I can’t sleep, I count to 100.
I’ve used this method since I was in 3rd grade.
I close my eyes and start at 1. As I’ve gotten older it takes less time to get to 100, but the effect is always the same. Focusing on the numbers helps keep my mind off of whatever it is that’s keeping me from sleep.
Tonight I might count to 100...

I noticed something wasn’t right around 2. She was breathing heavy and couldn’t stand. I knew what was coming and could tell it wouldn’t be long. It took me forever and I still hate myself for it, but I’ve made a decision.
In November of 2009, my dad lost his job and it changed everything for my family. Last May my dad moved to Phoenix to start a new job. It was only going to be temporary until he could find a job here. A few months later the company offered him a more permanant position and my family decided to move to Phoenix.
